Do you ever feel like you do not have enough hours in the day to get things done? Trying to juggle work schedules, home life and family can be a daunting task. Some days to the point of giving up on your small business. The new year always brings stressful days for me.
My husband and family ask why do i punish myself with the heavy work load of working a daytime job and balancing the work life with my small online business. Let me tell you why.
Do you ever run out of ideals for content or merchandise after the Christmas and New Year holidays? What will you make or sell for the New Year? Will it be the product that will bring success for your business this year or be the items that never sell? It is over whelming to me. As I sit in my shop and stare at the materials laid before me it almost gives me heart palpitations
But never fear, This new year will bring new beginnings and fresh ideals. Step back and take a few deep breaths. Try to visualize what you really want to provide your customers with. Whether it is jewelry or hand poured candles. The love that goes into each product is what makes it so special. Customers love the beauty and work that goes into those products. Sometimes you think your hard works has not been noticed, but it has. Start this new year out with a strong attitude that you will not stress out and you will dive into that creative mind of yours.
I love the small business community. I love the communication of the small business families. According to (Bankrate.com, 2022), small business owners likely make up the bulk of small business. 31.7 million small businesses in the U.S. as of 2020, accounted for 99.9% of all U.S. business (U.S. Small Business Administration, 2020).
Wow! this is amazing that small businesses can be this large of a presences in such a big world of commerce.
If I can provide one positive quote for you it would be, do not give up. Keep on striving to be the best small business owner you can be. Connect with other small business owners for support. Join small business community's on social media and in your local town. Get out there and do pop up sales with your local chamber of commerce. This will get you noticed with other peers. There is support out there for you. We can do this. We can be a standout business this year without the stress and emotional roller coater.
One of my favorite bible verses is:
Philippians 4:13 KJV I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
We are here to help and pray for each one of you in the struggles of being a small business owner. Remember to reach out to others when you feel over whelmed. This big ole world of commerce needs all of us small business owners to keep it real and share our love through our products and communications.
