Fall Family Time in Pigeon Forge Tn

Fall Family Time in Pigeon Forge Tn

Let me be the first to say “ I Love Fall”. The blue skies and fall colors of the leaves gives me a peace like no other.  As everyone knows this year has had many changes for good and bad.  Life can take its toll. I have experience sorry, death, life changes and many more things this past year.

But one thing that still remains is the Love I have for fall and my family.  We took a much need fall vaca to Pigeon Forge Tn. this past week and had the best time. If you have never been it’s time for you to plan a family visit.

We visited the Smoky Mountain Deer Farm.  Its a little hidden gem tucked back in the rolling hills of Sevierville Tn. It’s a cute place to pet deer, goats and many other animals.  See pic’s below.

Traveling on about ten miles down the road from deer farm in a beautiful valley in Newport Tn is the Bushes Baked Bean factory and general store.  They offer tours through the little museum of how the Bush family grew and prospered in the bean business.  When finished with tour you can have a sit down lunch or dinner in the Bushes Baked Bean eatery.  Upon leaving they hand you a complimentary box of their Bushes Baked Beans .   What a lovely place to visit.

You definitely can not visit the area of Pigeon Forge without going to the famous theme park “Dollywood”.  There is something for the whole family to see and experience.  The fall smells of cinnamon Bread baking, cool fall wind whispering around you. What is not to like about this time of year.

Needless to say October fall is time for get aways, beautiful colors, clear skies, and family time.
