We had the Best time visiting Pigeon Forge TN this past weekend. It’s a beautiful place to visit this time of year to see all the Christmas lights and decorations that they display through out the town . Our weekend travel was from December 10th through December 11th, 2022. Three full days of excitement and memory making.
First let me tell you about the place we stayed. When we pulled up to the Lodge my first thought was we are in the wrong place. You see we travel with our dog “Sadie”, and most places are accommodating but this place was way beyond that.
We stayed at the The Lodge at Camp Margaritaville. This is the entrance in picture below
The Lodge had an adjoining camp ground on the premises that was neat as could be. Wow we hit the jackpot on this stay.
The lobby was decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree and a big fireplace to warm yourself by.
The staff were very accommodating and had activities plan all day for children and your pets. Your pets could even have Santa pictures made.
If you have never been to Pigeon forge you are in for a treat. There is shopping, eateries and entertainment for miles in this place . After a day of shopping and sight seeing we visited Dolly’s Stampede for a dinner and fabulous entertainment.
The show honored the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord with singing and live animals. It is very moving to see establishments celebrating the reason for the season. My whole family got to experience this beautiful display of homage.
Our family has changed the way we give gifts at Christmas. We have incorporated small family trips from each other as our giving to each other. None of us really need anything, except for getting to spend time together.
I throughly recommend Pigeon Forge Tn for a family trip. You will not be disappointed.
